Spain is one of those countries that feels much bigger than it looks on the map. I have visited Spain once, and what impressed me most was not only the beautiful architecture, the lively streets, the sea, and the beaches, but also how diverse the country feels from one region to another.

Before visiting Spain, I knew about famous cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville. But after traveling there, I realized Spain is not just one simple travel destination. It is made up of different autonomous communities, and each one has its own identity, culture, food, history, and sometimes even its own language. For example, Catalonia has Catalan, the Basque Country has Basque, and Galicia has Galician.

I still remember taking the train from Barcelona to Madrid. Before boarding, there was a security check almost like at the airport.
